Product Update | Introducing Tendrel Checklist
Our next standalone app is here: Checklist. It’s designed to replace the manual, paper checklists we see customers struggling to use. Checklists are configured online, and then available to complete in a mobile app. They can be fully customized to capture any data you need.
Why checklists?
At every facility we visit, we see processes with the same basic shape:
- Step 1: Complete an important task and track it on a piece of paper
- Step 2: Transcribe all that useful data into a spreadsheet
- Step 3: File away the paper and the spreadsheet and never look at them again
- Step 4 (Optional): Get audited on the process and spend a whole bunch of time digging through your old papers and spreadsheets
A few examples we’ve seen that fit the bill include quality control inspections, regulatory checklists (like FDA checks, OSHA checks, or fire safety logs), inventory reviews, scheduled maintenance, and facility scouting.
If this sounds familiar, we’ve built something you may want to try. What if you knew exactly when, where, and by whom a critical process was completed? What if you could review every single time that process was completed, forever? What if you could pull data out of that process to review trends over time?
These are the things you'll be able to do with Tendrel Checklist.
Why use (Tendrel’s version)?
We know there are other, similar apps out there, so why use Tendrel?
For starters, our checklist app leverages our backend platform to work in frontline environments, with features like automated translations* and the ability to work offline* (*will arrive in a subsequent version).
At $30 a month for unlimited users, Tendrel Checklist is cheaper than similar apps. Plus you can try out our other apps at no additional cost 😎.
How it works
You can view a demo of checklist in action here:
Configuration of a checklist starts in our web console. You add a new checklist template, which allows you to provide a name, description, and link an SOP.
After creating your checklist, you configure the results you want to collect. We offer various widgets to allow you to customize what your form looks like, including numbers, notes, true/false indicators, date-times, and more.
Once you’ve set up some checklists, you’ll download our mobile app and log in. The app displays your list of open checklists. Clicking on an open checklist lets you dive in and start recording data.
You’ll see a log of completed checklists in the app, which you can review.
