Product Update | Editable Timeclock Dashboards on the Web

Written by Ross Arkin | Sep 25, 2024 3:23:03 PM
Our latest release brings a new set of dashboards for viewing and editing Timeclock data on the web. This was a highly requested feature, and we're excited to enable you to work on Tendrel from your desktop.

While the web console originally went live with configuration features, this marks the first time any user can edit work data from their desktop. We view it as a big step forward for the Tendrel platform and a big quality-of-life improvement for supervisors that may need more flexibility in where they work.

We've also released version 0.6.5 of our mobile app, which includes bug fixes for self-service template editing and general performance improvements. Our full release notes can be viewed here.

Editable Timeclock Dashboard

When you click on Timeclock from the console sidebar, you'll open the new dashboard page. This page contains the daily snapshot view as well as pre-filtered views for workers that are on break, clocked in, or missing a clock in.

The daily snapshot lets you see a single day's worth of Timeclock entries, and you can view historical data by changing the date at the top. This view lets you add and edit Timeclock entries.

The three additional views let you filter to a list of workers based on whether they're on break, clocked in, or missing a clock in for the day. These are a powerful tool to see the current state of your site and take quick corrective action.

You can easily end a worker's open break or clock them out. If a worker is no longer active at your site, the missing clock-in view will highlight them and give you the option to deactivate their profile.

This new feature brings the web console to parity with our mobile dashboards with a more convenient UX for view large sets of data. We look forward to your feedback as you try it out!
